Worldwide Ticketcraft continually strives to maintain standards that take the pain out of purchasing tickets. That's why we have created a new look for our site and a whole new section entitled Quick Start Here. Located in the light blue menu on the left-hand side, the Quickstart menu let clients see products and links that are most relevant to their particular industry. For example, clicking on the dance performance link will bring you to a page that has economical tickets, posters, reserved seating tickets and roll tickets all on the same page. Access to both online ordering and more information to each one of those products are eaily accessible through the links within the text. Basically this is the best place to start from if your new to ticketing, new to our website or just need a convenient jumping point for your ticketing research. A New Senior Product Specialist
Jim Askew has recently come on board and been appointed as Senior Product Specialist for Worldwide Ticketcraft. Jim brings a history of many years of quality service to clients which are literally all over the U.S. Prior to becoming involved in the ticketing industry, Jim owned and managed businesses in the Men's and Women's apparel industry. He attended the University of Texas & Southern Methodist Iniversity where he studied Chemistry. Jim lives in Austin, Texas where his hobbies include Sailing & Fly Fishing. Jim said "I am very happy to be associated with Worldwide Ticketcraft as they are truly the best in the ticketing industry at solving their clients needs and providing the best service at a fair price." New Product - Magnets
These are great promotional reminders for special events. We have 3 standard sheets: 3.5 x 5.75, 2.5 x 11.25, and 2 x 3.5 (business cards sizes) Magnet material is a 20 mil stock over a magnet sheet. Call us for more information. 877-645-4944. Custom sizes and designs are available as well.
E-Cycling
Electronics waste is growing exponentially. Televisions are used on average for less than two years. For computers, it's three. Recycling, or "E-cycling," these and other electronic items is critical for preserving landfill space and for ensuring that hazardous materials used to make electronics are properly disposed. Worldwide TIcketcraft recently upgraded all of the monitors in the facility to flatscreen LCDs. We went ahead and disposed of the CRT Monitors and even older computers that were no longer in service through our local e-cycling facility. We feel it is so important to do our part in recycling even the thing we take for granted: office paper, production waste and especially electronics. A New VP of Sales
So we got a new VP of Sales. Tim Timco has joined the ranks of Worldwide Ticketcraft. Tim has 30 years of experience in ticketing having been involved in all aspects of the industry from production clerk to account management and VP of sales. Some might know him from another ticket company that we won't mention here. Tim has also been and continues to be active with IAAPA, the PA Amusement Park Association, INTIX, AMOA, IISF, OABA and RSA. We are glad he's on our side! Tim resides in Elysburg, PA and has two children, Melissa (24) and Eric (27). "Nothing good comes easy, determination and a good work ethic
with the correct values will prove to be very successful.", he comments. This core belief is shared by all of us here at Worldwide. We welcome Tim to our staff and wish him the very best.
Online - Custom Banners
We have a new product to announce: Custom Vinyl Banners. If you have access to artwork, you can create and ship your banners in just a few days. You can make them any length. Just make sure that one (either width or height) does not exceed 4 feet. (Think of it as coming out of a giant inkjet printer). There is a $10 set up charge and we only charge $8 a square foot after that. To figure out your square footage, just multiply the width of the banner by the height. (in feet of course) We have a chart to help you figure this out too. So you've got your artwork in Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, whatever, we will check it to make sure you are going to get what you arre expecting. Choose the square footage of your banner. Choose whether to include grommets or not. Type in your final dimensions, add additional instruction, if necessary and type in the quantity of banners. (For more than one copy of the banner, we will multiply the cost of the square footage and charge the credit card with your approval) After that is done, it time to upload your artwork. Keep the file size small. Click the browse button to select your file and then upload your file to our server. After that, add your product to your shopping basket and either continue shopping or check out.
Celebrating 10 Years
Worldwide turns ten in July. Hard to beleive that we opened our doors that long ago. With one press and a handfull of employees, we set out to impress anyone and everyone who would come to our door and put their trust and admissions needs in our hands. Ten years later, we are still servicing most of those clients from our opening year. And testimonial after testimonial keeps us grounded in the fact that service and quality are the most important things in our industry. We thank all of you who have entrusted your business to us and look forward to serving those yet to walk through our door or click through our web site.
